Arun, an Indian filmmaker from Madras, a city in southeast India, befriends a young eunuch named Sardha. In a series of conversations with the film maker, Sardha tells of his transformation from a young boy to a member of the Order of Eunuchs and how the group survives living on the margins of Indian society.
