'Kanal' is a multi-plotted story based on the true tragedy that happened on 'Zeran Canal' near Warsaw. An angler, furious because of lack of peace around him stabbed the canoeist who passed him by. Those people, who unknowingly contributed to the death of young athlete did not even notice the tragedy that took place right next to them. The senseless death of the canoeist has no influence upon life that lazily goes by.
