Klaus Mikoleit was born in Berlin in 1945. He studied acting at Berlin's Max-Reinhardt-Seminar. In the course of his career Klaus Mikoleit was a company member of the Schauspielhaus Bochum (1969-1976), the Thalia Theater Hamburg (1976-1980), and the Staatliche Schauspielb黨nen Berlin (1980-1986). He worked with renowned directors like Peter Zadek, Hans Neuenfels, Boy Gobert, Michael Verhoeven, and Boleslaw Barlog.
