Composer, conductor and guitarist, educated at Wayne University earning a Bachelor of Music degree. He was a guitarist in the Dizzy Gillespie and Benny Goodman orchestras, and also formed his own group. He appeared at the Newport Jazz Festival. Joining ASCAP in 1959, he composed the instrumentals Sugar Hill and Kenny's Blues. By: Hup234!
