Mini Biography
Jeffrey Bassetti studied film animation and graphic design at San Francisco State University, and graduated with a BFA in 1992. In 1989, Jeff was accepted into Lucasfilm's student internship at Industrial Light and Magic and was under the guidance of Visual Effects Producer Ned Gorman and Head of Post Production, John Weaver.
Immigrated to Los Angeles, in 1994 from Pleasanton California, and was accepted into the American Film Institute, where he studied under Bob Boyle and Henry Bumstead, and graduated 1997 with MFA in production design.
In 2000 Jeff formed Burning Galileo Films with Jim Stafford, Chris Fetherolf, and Bob DeCarli, and began fund raising for their first independent film, F-Stops (2001).
