Mini Biography
Born and raised in Rochester Michigan; 35 miles north of the Motor City, Jamison grew up in what he refers to as 搒uburbia? Always having aspirations in entertainment, Jamison spent his high school years as the singing drummer of a rock n' roll band title 揘one of the Above?
He began acting in high school and was accepted with scholarship to the prestigious acting program at Western Michigan University. After two years in the program he moved to Los Angeles and finished his degree at Cal State Fullerton. Jamison spent his summers performing with a professional acting company outside San Francisco where he was invited to perform two world premiere plays at the Edinburgh Festival in Scotland.
On his return from Scotland he married the object of his affection and moved to San Francisco with his new wife and baby to attend the world renowned Advanced Training Program at the American Conservatory Theater. After graduation Jamison was asked into the acting company at ACT and worked on such critical success as, Angels in America, Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead and Othello. Jamison has also earned a reputation as a Sword Master and theatrical combat instructor. He has over 15 years experience in the art of theatrical and historical swordplay and hand to hand combat. His work has been seen at the Idaho Shakespeare Festival, South Coast Repertory Theater, The American Conservatory Theater, The Pasadena Playhouse, LACT, The California Shakespeare Festival Napa Valley Shakespeare Festival, East LA Classic Theater and La Mirada Theater for The Performing Arts.
Jamison moved the family back to Los Angeles in 1996 to pursue his career in film and television, but has always kept a strong hold on his career in the theater.
