Mini Biography
Carlos was born in Panama and then raised in Saline, Michigan from age 8. After graduating high school on the Honor Roll, he attended an elite Michigan State University Program for the highly gifted as a Pre-Med student. Carlos was Captain of the Martial Arts team for two years. He has high level black belts in Judo, Tae Kwon Do and Jujuitsu and is a martial arts weapons expert. After receiving a sports injury at age 19, Carlos began his rehabilitation by studying Ballet. After graduating from the University, he turned down medical school and exchanged his plans for a medical career for that of a dancer on Broadway. His debut was as a principle with Ballet Folklorico and he received his breakthrough role singing and dancing in "House of Flowers" with Patti LaBelle, directed and choreographed by Tony Award winner, Geoffrey Holder. Carlos moved to Hollywood to pursue television and feature film acting. Once in California, Carlos' acting efforts began to pay off with breakthrough roles in television and feature film projects, most notably "Baywatch" (1989), Stargate (1994) and Spy Hard (1996), respectively.
Carlos has spent the past several years raising his son, Joshua, and writing and co-writing eight feature film screenplays. They range from Live Action/Fantasy to Superhero/Sci-Fi to Psychological Thriller/Romance. His company, Alpha Omega Productions has projects in various stages of development with interest from several noted producers and actors.
