Mini Biography
This dark, sometimes reclusive, figure did not always have an interest toward film. He was a composer, private pilot, private music lesson teacher and musician, fashion designer, produced fashion shows (including one for Gianni Versace Couture in Dallas), wrote a novel, was a bouncer and a bar back at a night club, worked on a horse farm in Virginia, a project manager at CompUSA, and rigged audio equipment at soaring heights all by the time he was 23.
Although he spent most of his time in high school in detention for smoking and skipping school, he produced a charity CD comprising of a compilation of Dallas acoustic bands, who were later signed by major labels. He owned and ran two different companies by the time he was 21 (Four Corners of the Globe Inc. and GlitterFreak Inc.) As a fashion designer, one of his evening gowns appeared on the E! Channel during a Toni and Guy International tour, Good Morning Texas, and D Magazine.
His short film, Mazer World shocked audiences at film festivals internationally with its spooky fairytale imagery featuring the music of Danny Elfman. It was featured on the BBC 4 in London, as well as winning an award at the 2001 Houston WorldFest. He also has another short film, Lemures, which also won at the 2001 Houston Filmfest. He has won numerous awards for his writing as well as being acknowledged by top industry professionals at Paramount Studios, Columbia Tri-Star, and the E! Channel for a novel that he was co-writing called "Behind the Smile".
Brian doesn't try to be anything more than what he is...an average bloke who hangs out in Irish Pubs and spends his days drinking with friends, writing screenplays, and making movies.
