Filmmaker Andrew Leavold is believed to be the first to charge the extras in the 'go-go' sequence an admission fee to appear in the film. However they were rewarded on the night by seeing The Aampirellas perform live, viewing Doris Wishman films and eventually becoming part of film history by having their names included on the closing credits of the film.
