"The Sopranos"All Due Respect Plot Outline

After his offer to kill Tony B himself was rejected by Johnny Sacks, Tony is making a stand and gearing up for a gang war. The rest of his crew is unhappy about the situation, feeling that their lives are being put in jeopardy for no good reason, and that Tony would never stick his neck out for them the way he is asking them to do for his cousin. Tony goes to several people for advice, including Dr. Melfi and Junior, but finds no answers from either. Finally, he comes to the understanding of what his position as leader really means, and he decides to take action himself. He goes to the farmhouse where Tony B is hiding out and shoots his cousin in the head, leaving his body outside. He then tells Johnny where Tony B is, and lets his goons find out that their target is already dead. When Johnny receives the news that he won't get the satisfaction of causing Tony B's death himself, he informs Tony that the conflict between the gangs is still on.
