Grandpa finds out that Herman has lent to his brother-in-law Lester $5000 dollars, in fact, all the money of the family bank account. Grandpa thinks that this was a crazy thing, but he and Herman trust in the word of Lester that he'll pay all the money back. Nevertheless, Lily and Marilyn discover that the bank account is empty, and this couldn't mean anything but Herman's bankruptcy. In order to face the situation, Lily begins to look for a job with the assistance of an agency. The only job that fits for Lily is reading palms in a tearoom, running by Ramon (Lee Bergere). Lily doesn't want that Herman finds out anything about it, and goes to work everyday after Herman leaves the house, returning just before Herman arrives. However, Grandpa begins to suspect and worried about his son-in-law, begins to full Herman's head with stories about a possible affair of Lily with another man. They start to follow Lily to her job and spy her during a reading session with Ramon, assuming that the whole thing is a romantic matter. But one day, Herman arrives early home and discovers Lily arriving almost at the same time. She doesn't tell anything, but now Herman's very angry and encouraged by Grandpa, leaves home heading the tearoom to give a lesson to Ramon. In this situation, Lily confesses all to Grandpa and she calls Ramon to warn him. Lily and Grandpa follow the jealous Herman, in order to try to stop what probably will be a massacre.
