The four "EMPS" mecha suits that appear in the game (the Urey, Goddard, Oberth and Von Brawn models) were named after Yuri Gagarin, the first man in space; American rocket scientist Robert H. Goddard; and German rocket scientists Hermann Oberth and Wernher von Braun. The brothers, Tony and Ridley Redwood, share the same first names with real life brothers and directors Tony Scott and Ridley Scott.
