While filming a "More Dirty Debutantes" sequence, a huge power outage occurred midway into a scene with Jake Steed and Suzi Suzuki. Instead of calling off the shoot, the director, 'Ed Powers (II)' , chose to improvise. He used the tiny bulb mounted on the top of his camera as the main source of light. It gave off such an eerie glow during the remainder of the scene that Powers felt inspired to create a whole other film - Debutante Dreams.
