Filmed back-to-back with Wishmaster 3: Beyond the Gates of Hell (2001) (V). There essentially was a weekend between filming the two movies in 2000.
Continuity: When Sam finds his old drawings, the picture of Lisa that he drew three years previously changes between shots.
Continuity: There is no evidence of bloodstains on the faxed documents.
Continuity: The character who pulls his own tongue out, cuts off his own nose and then shoots himself quite clearly still has a full nose just before pulling the trigger.
Crew or equipment visible: When the Djinn, in human form, is waving a stick and taunting the hunter, you can see a crewmember in blue on the left of the screen, in front of the tree. On the next shot of the tree, he's gone.
