"Seinfeld" (1990) was originally known as "The Seinfeld Chronicles", but the show's name was changed partly in order to avoid confusion with this series. After "Seinfeld" made its debut with its new name in May of 1990, The Marshall Chronicles only aired one further episode before it was cancelled.
