On their way to Saffron City, our heroes come to the spot where Butterfree gather to find mates and travel together across the sea in order to have babies. Ash lets out his own Butterfree and helps it to try and find a mate of its own. It eventually finds one, a uniquely pink Butterfree, and attempts to impress it.
