Five teenage friends who come from different backgrounds are enjoying their time at a local juice bar when Rita Repulsa is released from her prison on the moon and declares war on Earth. Zordon chooses them to become power rangers and protect the Earth, but the teens find themselves uncertain and unwilling to take on such an enormous responsibility.
