Jake gets visited by Colleen, another former girlfriend, who informs him that she has a 4-year-old boy that may be from him and wants his permission to get it adopted by her current husband. Meanwhile, Alison falls ill and it turns out to be a benign tumor on her uterus that needs to be removed. But she has no health insurance and not enough money to pay for herself. Also, Rhonda meets a wealthy restaurant owner, named Terrance Haggard, and immediately starts dating him.
