Due to a distributor problem, the film never received a theatrical release or home video release. It never aired on television either. The October 2005 DVD release is the film's first official release anywhere in the world. During the scene being filmed in the kitchen, the clapboard that is briefly seen has BUDUDA listed as the production company. This was the real-life production company of EFFECTS filmmakers Dusty Nelson, John Harrison, and Pasquale Buba.
