"Hippodrome Show" Plot Outline

Spectacular variety series featuring the whole nine yards, jumping dogs, trapeze acts, brass bands, vaudeville as well as contemporary singers and musicians. Hosts were the same but different line ups or episodes were made to suit each country.

Originally, Dominique van Vliet was going to reprise her role as 'Mem Klinkhamer', but she had to drop out because of her busy schedule in the musical "Mamma Mia!" The part then was first offered to Froukje de Both (turned it down) and Chiara Tissen (unavailable) before Babette van Veen eventually got it.

[closes his eyes to remember who is on his left side and who is on his right side, but doesn't notice that the girls switch places. Then he starts talking to Ryanne, thinking it's actually Dion] Okay and what do you find so interesting about that Hielke?



Ryanne:
Hielke? Nothing! Such a loser!



Jack Gaddèrie:
But I thought you just said that...



Dion:
No, that was me!
