Shot in only 13 days, shooting 8 1/2 to 10 pages per day. 'Jim Moores' , in collaboration with director Bryan W. Simon, adapted the stage play to a screenplay in just two weeks. The dream sequences, where Jake comes alive, were inspired by a dream which director Bryan W. Simon had about his recently deceased mother. The film is dedicated to her.
