This game is essentially a handheld conversion of Super SF2X, but it also includes some of the backgrounds from the Street Fighter Zero series. Chun-Li's background in this game is actually her background from the Street Fighter Alpha series. Similarly, the M. Bison laboratory stage is new to this game.
