Thomas Gibson stars as a police officer who loses his wife at the hands of a brutal murderer. After being transferred to patrol duty at a prestigious college, he finds out that the now-executed murderer is part of a professor's bizarre experiment that results in his being resurrected, his murderous drive still intact.
The first Hungarian movie filmed in color. Because of the lack of money filmmakers used Gevacolor reels, which were found by the police at smugglers on the Romanian border. This caused that all color prints of this movie paled down to black and white in a few years, and the sound also heavily damaged. Some of the mansions in the movie were actually residents of Communist party officials.
