This show is one of the original "Nicktoons" along with "Doug" (1991) and _"Ren and Stimpy Show, The" (1991)_ . Although in the movie and the mother's day episode of the rugrats it tells us that Chuckie's mom died, the early episodes implied that Chuckie's mom was still alive.
