In the first episode of Dragon Ball, Goku meets Bulma and Songon. Bulma was looking for the 4-star dragonball which Goku owned. She was collecting them so she could make a wish to find true love. Goku then decides to follow her on her quest in the search of the rest of the dragonballs.
