Ferenc Hujber was set to play Simon Csorba, but he moved to London, England earlier and producers didn't want to pay his flight ticket. The role went to Gábor Csöre. This animated movie was made with a brand new technique. The artists took 350 headshot pictures of each actor and used these photos for the expressing emotions and the animation of the heads.
