"No, No, Nanette" was originally a Broadway show produced and directed by Harry Frazee in 1925, running for 321 shows. To finance the show, Frazee - then owner of the Boston Red Sox - sold Babe Ruth to the New York Yankees in December of 1919. In this version, young Eve Arden plays the character of Winnie, but in the Doris Day remake (_Tea For Two (1950)_ ) she plays Pauline.
