The elevator firm where Felix works was originally called "Delta Liften", but because this name was already registered they changed the name to "Deta Liften" just before shooting began. The movie was shot in 30 days and had a very small budget. Dick Maas was fired halfway of the production because of continuing arguments with Matthijs van Heijningen who produced the film.
