Peter Jurasik began his acting career in high school in Goshen, New York, taking over the lead role as The Mikado as a freshman. He won First Place in the Salesian Seminary Shakespearian Festival in 1967. After high school he appeared in many summerstock and community theatre productions. Peter also wrote a play called Inside My Room. Peter graduated from the University of New Hampshire Department of Theatre and Dance in 1972.
