Mark Bashian was raised in northern Virginia outside of Washington, D.C. After college he toured with the band Java Soup where he sang and played guitar along the east coast. After the tour, Bashian worked as a stockbroker in the DC metropolitan area.His first endeavor in entertainment was making a movie trailer about himself.
