Margaret Wycherly was born in London, England on October 26, 1881. She predominately a stage actress and still did stage work even after she had performed in films. Her first film came late in life when she appeared in The Fight (1915) in 1915. She was 34 years old. Not until 1929, did audiences get a glimpse of Margaret in The Thirteenth Chair (1929).
