Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Juan Pablo is the third son of artist Marta Maineri and Victorio Di Pace. He has lived in Spain, Italy and England. At 17 he was awarded a scholarship to the exclusive United World College of the Adriatic in Trieste and later studied theatre at the London Studio Centre. Before graduating he was cast in Walter Bobbie's London production of Chicago, becoming the youngest ever person to play the role of Billy Flynn.
