Born and raised in Athens Georgia, home of B-52's, R.E.M. and Oscar winner, Kim Basinger. He survived being struck by lightning in 1977. His brother was beside him and killed instantly. Studied theatre at the Atlanta Alliance Theatre. Moved to LA in 1987. His first morning in LA was the Whittier earthquake. Survived that and went on to write and star in over numerous plays in LA and on tour. Commercials and film/TV roles followed.
