Jake was born in Clovis, California on Sept 8, 1986. He spent his younger years in Portland Oregon in which he still fondly refers to as home He visited Los Angeles for what was intended to be a brief stay for pilot season Jake took meetings with his manager, and upon doing so he booked the role of Josh in The Story of Us (1999), starring Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer.
