Mother of two children with late former husband, Singer-songwriter John Phillips of The Mamas & The Papas. One son, Tamerlane (Tam) Phillips, born March 14, 1971. One daughter, Bijou Phillips, model/singer/actress, born under interesting circumstances on April Fool's day, 1980, at the family home in Connecticut on the sofa while her parents were in the process of recovery. Bijou was premature but ultimately fine.
