Mini Biography
Francesco Lucente was born in Calgary, Alberta, Canada on April 15, 1960. Francesco's debut as a producer, director, screenwriter, cinematographer and editor came with his first short film, 'This Old Man'. He followed it with two more short films, 'Cloak and Dagger' and 'Paint It Black' in 1978. Francesco's first motion picture, for which he wrote the screenplay and produced, edited and directed was the teenage comedy The Virgin Queen of St. Francis High (1987) released worldwide by Crown International Pictures, Inc. Francesco produced, edited and directed his second motion picture, the drama The Inner Voice (1995). It was nominated for Best Picture at the 'Henri Langlois Film and Television Festival' in Tours, France. Francesco was nominated for Best Screenplay in the King Arthur Screenwriters Award (KASA) competition, in the dramatic category for the motion picture screenplay Frontline (1999). Francesco co-wrote (uncredited) the motion picture comedy screenplay 2001: A Space Travesty (2000) for actor Leslie Nielsen.
