Elizabeth was born in New Jersey on September 24, 1977 to John and Beth Bogush. During her childhood, the Bogushes moved often due to her father's job, until finally returning to the New York/New Jersey area in 1995. At that point, Elizabeth began to study acting, at the age of 18, in New York City. Her first role was on the Nickleodoen hit, The Adventures of Pete and Pete, playing Diane Senski.
