From Taos, New Mexico, Dylan began acting at Taos High School in plays and musicals. Encouraged by his parents Steve and Jean Kenin and Mentored by the Vaudeville trained Actor, Director, Producer, and TV Star, John Newland, Dylan was encouraged to go directly to Hollywood, which he did by way of the University of Southern California.
