Carl Hiaasen graduated from the University of Florida's School of Journalism in 1974. He has written many books, including Tourist Season, Double Whammy and Striptease, all crime/mystery books that take place in south Florida. In between writing books, Hiaasen writes a regular column for the Miami Herald.
