Began his directing career in 1990 with a Coca-Cola corporate video shot for the South East Asia market. He then directed about 50 corporate videos in Paris until 1999. He also worked as a movie critic for the Art magazine Technikart between 1996 and 1998. His first short film, Avatars (2001), was completed in March 2001 and screened in French cinemas as a supporting feature to Claude Zidi's La Bo顃e.
