Ann was born on April 24, 1976 in Rochester, New York. Her father was finishing his MFA in Music (Jazz) and the family moved to New Orleans, Louisiana in 1979.She received her B.A. in Theatre Arts from Greensboro College in North Carolina and her M.F.A. in Acting from the Univerisity of Connecticut-Storrs in 2001.She spent the summer of 2001 working at the Berkshire Theatre Festival in two productions and then moved to NYC just in time for the attacks on 9/11.
