Born in Vienna on November 24th, Alfons is the only child to August and Anna Haider. He began his acting career in kindergarten playing Prince Charming in Cinderella. He trained professionally at The Conservatory of Vienna and also at the Lee Strasberg Institute in Los Angeles.
