Aaron Spelling graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas, with a Bachelor of Arts Degree. Before that, he attended Forest Avenue High. He started as a writer and sold his first script to "Jane Wyman Presents The Fireside Theatre" (1955). He wrote for various television shows, including "Playhouse 90" (1956).
